Become a youth leader in digital fabrication and innovation!

In this paid summer program, you will co-lead a six-week education program for rising high school freshmen and sophomores. You will be responsible for co-teaching the fundamentals of digital fabrication and electronics—including 3D modeling and printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, and Arduino—as well as economic democracy and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on teaching experience with the equipment that will be driving innovation and manufacturing in the future, and inspiring students to apply those tools to solving community challenges and strengthening the Bronx.

The program also includes field trips and talks from local entrepreneurs who are using advanced manufacturing to build a better Bronx. Lastly, you will also assist with the inner workings of the Bronx Innovation Factory, gaining valuable work experience and insight into how community organizations run.

Apply by Friday, May 31st, at 5 pm. We will select applicants based on quality of applications, previous experience, and enthusiasm and commitment to the program.
